Sunday 28th March marked the end of Jill’s long period – two decades – as organist here at St David’s. Over that period the congregation has enjoyed and benefited from the wide variety of music Jill has played on the organ before, during and after the services.

There is much more to being an church organist than just playing at regular services, there is also the many funerals, weddings and special services not to mention the behind the scenes work that goes on in the form of preparing and practicing the music to be played.

We would like to publically thank Jill for all her hard work and for sharing her gifts with us.

During the service Jill was presented with gifts from the congregation as an appreciation of all her hard work.
