Diocese of Liverpool

World wide the Mothers’ Union has  3.5 million members in 75 countries.

Membership is open to all who have been baptised in the name of the Holy Trinity and who declare their support for the Aims and Objectives of the Society. These are:

  • To uphold Christ’s teaching on the nature of marriage and promote its wider understanding
  • To encourage parents to bring up their children in the faith and life of the Church
  • To maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer worship and service
  • To promote conditions in society favourable to stable family life and protection of children
  • To help those whose family life has met with adversity.

Contrary to popular belief members do not have to be mothers – indeed they do not have to be female!

St David’s MU runs an active series of meeting of its own throughout the year and also meets with members of other Churches on a regular basis.

A list of upcoming meetings can be found HERE
