St David’s Lent Appeals
During Lent it is our custom to support an international and a local charity. This year we have chosen two children’s charities.
Jar of Grace Website
The international charity is Jar of Grace which is part of the UNICEF children’s emergency fund
The idea is to find an empty jar at home and, every time you say a grace or have a meal you put a coin into the jar. Simple but effective.
The local charity we will be supporting is the Alder Hey based CHICS Children’s Cancer Support Group.
It’s aim is to support families of children who are suffering from cancer.
